So Busy

Okay, I know~ I haven't posted anything in a while. Not because I'm being lazy but because I've been up to my neck with sewing projects. I'm hosting a Mother's Day Bazaar at my house this Friday. I'm making my aprons for the event and it's been taking up all my free time. I'm having 11 different vendors come to sell their items (stuff like: baby accessories, jewelry, artwork, cooking utensils, food, photography and clothing) and we're inviting everyone we can think of to come and shop. This is the second one I have hosted here in Puerto Rico but I've attended many others when I lived in California. I always have a great time doing them. I'll post some pictures of the event after Friday so you can see what it was like.

Children's Book

I can't believe I'm posting this because I'm not a writer and I'm definitely not a cartoon artist but I thought it might be fun to show you my first book. The idea for the book goes way back to when I was first married. We had a hamster named Sam and as a joke my husband would make up funny songs about "The Rooster and His friends" (Sam being one of the Rooster's friends). We always laughed that it would be a great idea for a book. So for my husbands 30th birthday I wrote this book and finally brought "The Rooster and His friends" to life.

Easter Treat

Happy Easter!!

I know that these treat bags are not the fanciest out there but sometimes simple and easy comes in handy. Especially if you are crunched for time (like I was when I made these). I think I had about 10 minutes to put something together before I had to rush out the door. Thank goodness for Stampin' Up!
