Business Card

Not only did I get a great blog design and logo from The Blue Buggy but I also got a Business Card designed as well. I received them in the mail the other day and I'm thrilled with the way they turned out. It's going to be awesome to pass them out to people. Now I won't have to look like a nerd rooting through my mess of a purse for a pen and some form of paper to give someone my info. Yay!
The Blue Buggy also designed this great Mommy Calling Card. I've got to get a picture like this with one of my aprons. So cute!

Purple Tutu's

When my BFF from Utah came into town we thought it would be so fun to make tutu's for the girls and take pictures at the beach. I love the way the photos turned out. Every time my friend takes pictures for me they turn out so good. I'm very grateful for her photography skills.
The tutu's were pretty easy to make. We gathered the tulle, added the elastic and sewed the ribbon over top to give it a finished look.

3T Dress

My first little girl dress.
I used a dress I bought from Target as my pattern. I liked how simple the style was; no zippers, no buttons. There is elastic in the back so it's easy to get on. The dress I was looking off was all one print but I thought it would be fun to change it up a bit. So I added the panels with two different prints and the thick brown band at the bottom to tie the look together. Then for the final touch some ribbon and a bow.

Aprons

This is a re-post from my family blog. So if you have recently seen these pictures I'm sorry. Hope you don't mind seeing them again:)
For Christmas I wanted to give all the ladies in my family a cute and stylish apron. As I looked around online for just that I realized that there are a lot of aprons out there but not too many with style. I came across an apron on Etsy that look similar to this one and loved it. So when my BFF from Utah was in town we designed the pattern and ended up sewing 13 aprons in a matter of a few days. They were a huge hit!
Oh, and they look even more fabulous on :)

Felt Food

My good friend Katie (Mia Moo Designs) recently introduced me to felt food and I fell in love. Not only are they fun to make but the possibilities are endless. Here are a few of the websites I got my ideas from.
Felt Strawberry tutorial
Saltine Crackers
All my stitches where done in the blanket stitch (2 strands of embroidery floss).

20 x 30 Blanket

My girls love blankets! They each have their own blankie that is their special blanket they always want to take everywhere. Only problem is they are big and bulky. I got tired of them dragging their blankets all around town and getting them dirty. So I thought it would be a great idea to make them each a 20x30 blanket out of this soft fabric. My thought was that this could be their "car" blanket. That way they still had a blanket to snuggle to on long rides but if they wanted to bring it in a store there would be a lot less blanket to worry about.
I labeled each one with their initials so there would be no fighting over which one is whose. So far so good. The girls love their personalized cozy blankets and I'm doing a lot less blanket cleaning.

Hoody Towel

This is one of my most favorite baby shower gifts to give. I love how different each towel can look just by changing the colors of the ribbon and the fabric. Plus, this is a gift that baby doesn't grow out of in just a few months. :)
